Join the Lambda Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as we support the UNCHR (United Nations High Commissioners for Refugees, a UN agency) and start tracking your miles from walking, cycling or jogging. This is open to everyone.
Bring awareness to those families who have been forced to flee their homes in order to survive. The miles you total will go towards the goal of 1 Billion Miles – the number of miles that refugees make each year to safety.
Starting Saturday, June 20th, track your miles until June 30th. Then email your results to akalpogic@gmail.com by July 5th.
